Laura
Baker-Office Manager
Laura was born
and raised in Statesville, NC where she graduated from Statesville Senior
High School. She
has a daughter, Brandi, and one grandson, Brycyn, as well as a boxer named TJ. Laura
started with The Animal Hospital of Statesville in February of 1986 as a Client Services Representative. In
2001 she was promoted to Administrative Director. In 2002 and 2003, she attended the Level 1 and Level 2
AAHA’s Hospital Manager Training courses in Denver, Colorado. In Laura's
spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandson.
Jada Thompson-Client Services Supervisor
Jada grew up in Troutman, NC.and
graduated from South Iredell High School. She now
lives in Statesville with her husband, Erik and their three children,
Briana, Steven and Wesley. Their pets include two dogs, Chopper, Hannah
and one cat named Missy. Jada started with The Animal Hospital of Statesville in June of 1998. At that
time, she was a Kennel Assistant, but later became the Kennel Manager. In
March of 2002, Jada went back to school to receive her Certified
Nursing Assistant (CNA) degree. She continued to work part-time as a Client
Services Representative. Jada returned to her full-time position in
Janurary of 2004, and was promoted to Client Services Supervisor. She
enjoys spending time with her family.
Kim Fearing-Client
Services Representative
Kim grew up in Statesville, NC
where she now lives with her husband Rick have three children, Josh, Ricky and Brittany.
Kim & Rick
also have one grandson, Aidan and are awaiting the arrival of another grand child in December, 2007. Their extended family
consists of four dogs named Charlie, Gracie, Capri and Ninja. Kim had 10 years of office experience
before starting with The Animal Hospital of
Statesville as a full-time Client Services Representative in March of
2003. Her family enjoys camping, biking and just being outdoors. They
all share a love for animals and their animals share in all the activities,
too!
Brenda
Whitley-Client Services Representative
Brenda grew up in Long
Island, NY. She moved to North Carolina when she was 17. She married
her high school sweet heart, Doug and together have 3 sons, Doug, Bryan
and Jacob. Family members also include two cats, Perseus and Prometheus and
two dogs, Molly and Cracker Jack. Brenda and her family enjoy football,
camping, bike riding, fishing and spending time together. Employed at The Animal Hospital of Statesville
since August of 2005, she enjoys
working with pet's and her fellow team members.
Sarah Niblock-Client
Services Representative
Sarah was born and raised in Iredell
County, where she
graduated
from North Iredell High School in May of 2003. She is the daughter of Barbara and Keith Niblock and
has an older brother Adam, who is in the USAF. She loves animals and has 4 cats and one
Golden Retriever named Sadie. Sarah started with The Animal Hospital of Statesville as a Kennel Assistant
in March of 2005 until September of 2006, when she accepted the position of Client Services Representative. She loves her job and really enjoys seeing all different
kinds of pets.
Kayla
Reed-Client Services Representative
Kayla started with The
Animal Hospital of Statesville in April of 2007. She was born and raised
in Olin NC, were she currently resides with her parents and two sisters.
She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her pets, which include
six horses, six dogs and a "crew" of cats. She's also active
with her community & church. She is attending
Mitchell Community College while also working as a Teacher's Assistant. Her main goal in life is to be comfortable and happy.
Ryan
Walker-Client Services Representative
Ryan was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She moved to North Carolina in 2003 with
her family. Ryan is a big animal lover and has worked with animals since
she was of legal age to get a job. She became a staff member of The Animal
Hospital of Statesville in August of 2005, working as Kennel Assistant in
our boarding facility. She was promoted to Kennel Manager in June of 2007.
In July of 2008 Ryan was moved to Client Services Rep. Ryan now lives in Statesville and has a large furry family at home,
consisting of two cats, Joe and Cleo, two dogs, Zoe and Chip, one
horse, Rowdy and last but not least, her husband, Mike!
